It is commonly used in packaging applications where secure closure is needed, such as flowpacks, preformed bags, quad seals, and much more. It has the same characteristics as plastic, but without causing extra pollution: it consists only of pure cellulose, low-migration inks, and raw materials suitable for secondary food packaging.
